I began working with Barbara when she was referred to me by one of my best customers. Barbara invited me in to provide her team with an image presentation to help kick off their selling year.

Barbara is a successful entrepreneur in the wellness industry, who “works wherever she goes,” so her personal appearance is of utmost importance. We began working together on an individual basis, and her goals were to make certain that her overall image is “approachable, caring and sincere.”

What I love to do for my clients, like Barbara, is to take those personal goal and image words and translate them into your overall visual appearance. We put it all together by discovering your own best color palette, fits of clothing, and personal style.

For Barbara, a softer palette of cool-based colors worked best for her: navy, grey, off white, chocolate brown, denim blue, rose, and our favorite sea foam green (you can see what this color does for her in her picture!). None of these softer colors takes away from her business strengths; rather, they frame her as the approachable leader that she is!

Remember, it only takes 30 seconds, or less, for others to size you up by your appearance and make a decision about whether they want to do business with you. Keeping your appearance updated and in tune with your personal and business image goals is the first step to securing and attracting success!

As an Executive Regional Vice President with Arbonne International, I am responsible for leading and training a growing team of entrepreneurs. Since we represent state-of-the-art “Anti-Aging” and “Wellness” products, it is essential that we present the most positive image we can. Most of my team members are very conscious of the quality of their skin, hair and cosmetics, but many of us are challenged when it comes to evaluating our individual fashion style, or applying such knowledge to dress for success.

My solution was to invite Connie Gregory to come and give 25 of us a one-hour training on just this topic. It was a sensational hit! We all were amazed at the information she shared. She gave us a method for beginning to focus and make better fashion choices. I personally realized that I can dress to communicate a more approachable, friendly persona, and in my business (where recruiting is 24/7), that's a big plus to take advantage of!
